Reliance Broadband — Internet connection is not working from 19th October 2014. Useless customer care and useless appellate authority

Address:Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Hi All, I am Reliance Broadband customer from Chennai. My User id:[protected] I just want to explain about worst ever customer care experience given by Reliance Broadband. My broadband connection is not working from 19th October 2014. I have called customer care and made a complaint. They promised me that issue will be fixed within 24 hours. Next day when I checked online in rcom portal (I have checked the portal from office), Service Request has been closed without fixing the issue.I have called customer care, they said "Your request is in resolved status, don't worry, I will update". I have asked them to open another Service Request and requested not to close the Service Request. They created SR and again said that it will be fixed in 24 hours. But again they have closed the SR without solution. I have called appellate authority, made a complaint. They said it will be fixed in 4 days. I told them, not to close the Service Request, But they also closed the Service Request without solution. Again I have called Appellate Authprity, told them to create Service Request, but not to close it. Again they did the same. So far 6 to 7 Service Requests created, spoke to more than 15 people in Reliance (Customer Care, Appellate authority and local staff). Everytime they promise that it will be fixed in 24 hours, but no one is calling me / coming to check the line and no update what so ever. Not even a single human from reliance told me what is the issue and when it will be fixed. So far only once I got a call from Reliance (from Mumbai - +[protected], on Friday - 25th October 2014). The guy who spoke to me said that the issue will be fixed on Monday (27th October 2014), but no one worked on this issue and no one called me as well. I have called appellate authority, they said it will be fixed tomorrow (28th October 2014). After coming back to home from office, I found that Internet connection issue is still not fixed. I have called customer care, and as usual customer care didnot give any update apart from repeating their golden words "Your request is "in progress" status sir, we will escalate this issue to concern department, it will be fixed in 48 hours". Apart from this sentance no one is giving me proper update on this and no one is working on this issue. So far, I have sent more than 10 E-Mails to customer care and appellate authority in last 8 days with no proper response. Called more than 15 to 20 times, with no proper update. Customer care executives & appellate authority executives are total failure and absolute waste. Don't which call center they belong to. Instead o[censored]sing them, realince can keep a recorded msg for every customer mentioning "Your issue will be fixed in 24hours. Becuase thats the only dialogue they know. God only knows, when these people are going to fix the issue. If there is anyone who can help me on this, kindly help me. I am fed up of talking to customer care, appellate authority and fed up of sending mails. An extremely dissatisfied & frustrated customer, Vidya Sagar

Hi,

11th day is over, still connection is not restored. Countless calls, SMS and mails with no solution.

Last time when I sent mail to this E-mail address (anil.[protected]@relianceada.com), I got a call from Mumbai (number: +91 22
[protected]. I was promised that connection will be restored by Monday (27th October 2014). Now today is 30th October 2014, which is almost over. Still now no solution.

I spoke to Chamundeswaran (General Manager - Nungumbakkam) on Friday (24th October 2014) on his mobile number : [protected]). He took my user id and said that connection would be restored by Saturday (25th October 2014). But nothing happened. No one worked on this issue. I have called him number of times on his mobile, but he never attended my call. I have sent him number of SMSs as well. Finally he replied on Monday morning (27th October 2014). He mentioned that issue will be fixed by Wednesday EOD (29th October 2014). Again, I have sent a SMS on Wednesday morning as a reminder. He replied "Person is working on it, will be cleared by EOD". But till evening no calls, no messages no solution. As usual, he never replied and he never attended my call. Today also I have called number of times and sent number of SMSs, he never replied and he never attended my call.

I got a call from a person name Mahesh from Nungumbakkam office on Monday (number : +[protected]. He said that issue will be fixed by Tuesday EOD, if not Tuesday EOD, maximum by Wednesday EOD. But till Thursday morning, nothing happened. No one came, no one worked and no one fixed the issue. Today again I have called his number, he said that issue will be fixed by today EOD. As usual nothing happened and no one worked, issue is not fixed.

I got another call today afternoon from a person name Naresh from Nungumbakkam office (Number +[protected]. He said that he is from Technical team. On 11th day he is asking me "What is the issue sir?". So what the hell is happening for the last 11 days? After explaining the whole story, he said that issue will be fixed by tomorrow EOD. (How many times, do I have to listen the same dialogue?)

Is there an end for this pain? Is there one human being in Reliance who can take care of this issue instead of giving me dialogue
"Issue is escalated to concern department with high priority, it will be fixed by tomorrow EOD". Can someone from Reliance answer me the meaning for these golden words used by your customer care, appellate authority and staff at Nungumbakkam office.

1. Issue will be fixed by today EOD (today EOD never came so far, no one fixed the issue)
2. Issue will be fixed by tomorrow EOD (How many tomorrows do you need?)
3. Issue will be fixed with in 24 hours (24 hours didnot complete in the last 11 days)
4. Issue will be fixed by Monday (How many Mondays you people need?)

Below mentioned golden dialogues repeated by every individual, countless. But no one bothered to look into this issue.

1. Your request is in resolving status, I will update the same to concern team.
2. Your request has been escalated to concern Technical Team with high priority, it will be fixed with in 24 hours.

Is there one single individual who follows basic ethics? Realiance Person reading this message, go through the message completely and call me. Call me with exact solution. Don't call me to give one more wrong promise "Issue will be fixed by tomorrow EOD". I do not want to listen that again.

Reliance customer care, Reliance Appellate authority and Staff at Nungumbakkam office (including General Manager Chamundeswaran) totally failed. Completely waste.

Highly irritated and frustrated customer,

I am listening the same dialogue from every individual from day one. Its been 9 days since I have reported the issue, nothing happened. Every person from reliance is using the same dialogue, but no one is ready to call customer and give proper update.

Reliance customer care & appellate authority failed completely to give proper update to customer & to take necessary actions to fix the issue. Everyone is telling that someone will call me & someone will fix the issue.

When is this issue going to be fixed?

Extremely dissatisfied and irritated customer

Vidyasagar
They have promised me a solution by today EOD. I will wait till today evening and I will whatever you have mentioned above.

Totally lost hope. I don't believe any individual from Reliance. Every person from Reliance making wrong promises.

2 Brilliant golden dialogues from every customer care & appellate authority agents (I heard this everyday from every agent in last 10days):

----> Your request is in "resolving status", I will update the same. (God only know what does this mean to a customer.

----> We are escalating this issue to concern department, it will be fixed within next 24 hours

Suggestion to Reliance Customer care : You can record these 2 dialogues and keep them in IVR. Every time when a customer is calling, play these messages. You can save a lot of money by cancelling contract with call center (for both customer care and appellate authority).
Hi,

Another wrong promise from you guys. 10th day without Internet connection.

Again & again, I am keep on sending mails and keep on calling you people. No response what so ever. I am totally fedup.

What language do I have to talk to you guys?

I spoke to number of people from all departments, everyone is giving their own false promise. Not even a single person bothered to work properly to fix this issue.

Do you guys follow anything called "Ethics"??? Atleast, does anyone from Reliance know the meaning for this word?

After posting a complaint in https://www.consumercomplaints.in website, a person "Mahesh", called me from Nungumbakkam office (No: +[protected]. He promised me that issue will be fixed by Tuesday evening. and He said that if it is not Tuesday, maximum by Wednesday evening. Like an , I have believed him. Today I came to know that was another wrong promise.

On Last Friday, I spoke to a person "Chamundeswaran" (Mobile: [protected]), as per my knowledge he is the head of Nungumbakkam office. He asked me to send my user id through SMS which I did. After that I have called him number of times, but he never attended my call. I have sent number of SMSs, there was no reply. On Tuesday, I have sent 2 more SMSs to him to confirm whether he is the right person or not. Then he replied to SMS mentioning that the issue will be fixed by Wednesday EOD. I have sent antother SMS on Wednesday morning reminding him. He replied "Person is working on it, it will be cleared by EOD". Now at 10:30PM, I came back from office. MY INTERNET CONNECTION IS STILL NOT WORKING.

These 2 wrong promises happened on Tuesday & Wednesday. Like this everyday, every person in Reliance are keep on giving wrong promises from day one.

The person who is reading this from Reliance, If you have anything called "Manners" and "Ethics", call me and talk to me with proper information, instead of giving me useless reply like "You issue has been escalated to concern technical team with high priority, It will be fixed as soon as possible". I know, thats the common lie you are giving to every customer by default. Don't give me such kind of reply again.

IF ANYONE FROM RELIANCE HAS ETHICS & BASIC MANNERS, CALL ME & TALK TO ME WITH PROPER UPDATES.

Note: This is not the first time, I had the same kind of horrible experience with you few months back. That time also it took more than 2 weeks to fix the issue.

Highly irritated & frustrated customer because of your wrong promises,
Vidya Sagar
