[Resolved] Reliance Broadband — Poor service and gets disconnected for days together. Also, could not contact customer care as it always says "wrong input" of details. | |||||
I am one of the unfortunate customers duped into take a broadband connection by Reliance Broadband executives. They promised me at my doorstep that they provide 4 mbps speed and that they have flawless network system and many other attributes that make Reliance the only company that I would regret if I avoid it. They promised to give connection in two working days. Believing them, I paid connection charges, one month advance rental and deposit through cheque and they promptly encashed it. It took them 4 days and repeated calls from my end to get a working connection. Everything worked fine for the first day and then started the problem. Whenever there is a power shutdown, no matter full day or for even five minutes, their internet connection too would go offline. And on some days, it would simply go offline for days together even without any power shut down. I registered a complaint it with the sales executive since I could not ever get connected to their customer care service since their IVRS system could never recognize me by the given subscriber ID or my registered mobile number (but later they promptly mailed me the first month bill and their executives from their head office called me over phone regarding my complaints, wonder how this is possible!!!). As such, frustrated for over 2 months, I preferred to cancel the subscription and mailed them to which they promptly replied that they will set right all my complaints and requested me to carry on. Believing that they will rectify the problems, I waited for one more billing cycle only to find myself fooled and now even their executives do not attend my calls to their mobile. Again, my e-mail war started and they agreed to cancel the subscription and said their executive will get in touch with me within 48 hours but that has not happened even past that deadline.
