[Resolved] Reliance Courier — Unauthorized Balance Deduction | |||
Sir/Mam This is in regard to the number [protected]. I don't know what to do anymore. It is impossible to talk to the customer care executives as the option doesn't exist anymore. The network on my phone stopped working on 23 Oct. I tried knowing my balance but it said service temporarily unavailable. I assumed it must be due to festival traffic. The situation remained the same on 24th as well. I tried knowing my balance again. This time I got a reply. My main account balance was Rs. 0.03 and data balance was 0.00MB! While two days ago it had been Rs. 192 and data balance had been 285 MB. Since we own smart phones these days that can track your data usage. My phone says I only used 55 MB. If we consider ambiguity of 5MB I still have seem to lost 230 MB of data and my entire balance. I immediately called 198. It took 25 busy tones for the call to finally connect. After which no executive came online and all I got was static. The same process repeated for the next 4 hrs. After which I gave up. I called again the next day, that's the 25th. It again took 20-25 busy tones for the call to connect. The executive came online this time and I was told that he did not see any deductions in the last three days and if there were I would have been informed. Do you get the stupidity here! That is the entire point, I wasn't informed and still my balance remains null!!! After which the executive said "I'm sorry, there is some technical difficulty. Call back later." I called back later. My call connected a total of 3 times in 2 hrs and all of those times I was told to call back later. Both of which times there were technical difficulties. I did call back in the evening and the morning today, i.e 26th. But now talk to the customer care executive option doesn't seem to be working on 198 and I have no idea how to connect to reliance people anymore. I have emailed reliance customer care to no avail. I even went to my nearest reliance store, who also "dropped an email". Still no response! As if that wasn't enough, I recharged my phone on 26th Oct with Rs. 120 account balance and Rs. 27 data pack. My data balance is 9 MB left but still they have deducted Rs. 74 from my main balance! This has happened for the second time but this time there's nowhere to complain. I have even called their Appellate Authority. The lines are always busy. I want my money back and my data as well! Would you see into the matter. Was this information helpful? | |||
