Reliance Energy — High bill since many months bill no[protected] | |||||
I was very upset frustrated for high electricity bill by reliance energy for which i complained to their customer services and even sent mail for high bill of average rs.3000 every month, which is too high for us as we use only 3 fans 4 tube lights a fridge a geaser (Average 5 minutes a day) an ac (Rarely use in summer 1 hr a day), now last month we were out for 10 days even then the bill was the same 2990. I called reliance energy and convinced them after a long conversation with the supervisor to send some one to check the meter, today an engineer visited and checked the meter and informed me that your meter is damaged by fire of other meter and that's why your meter is running fast due to heat, you will have to buy a new meter in order to get less bill amount, i said this damage is not caused by me and in fact i am being penalized for company's fault. My question is why does the meter man who blindly takes down the reading every month did not informed me or reliance energy meter dept. For such a big damage to the meter since so many months? If meter is damaged then how come reading is showing almost constant meter reading even i was away for 10 days last month? Now what should i do for the high bill i have paid since so many months and why should i pay for the new meter charges they are demanding to pay?? Please help.. I am paying 10-12 percent of my monthly income to reliance energy.. I strongly support and believe in energy saving and do not misuse water and electricity. Was this information helpful? | |||||
