Reliance Fresh — Customer Grievance

Dear Sir, This is with great regret that I need to inform you that The Reliance Fresh Store at Jalahalli-West is place which is confusing customers on the certain aspects on the redeemed points that you enjoy on your card. I have been a reliance fresh customer since reliance set up the store in Malleswaram, Bangalore and then I used to buy it later from Mathikere. When Reliance fresh opened their store in Jalahalli-west, I used to buy it from Jalahalli-West, Recently I happened to redeem by card with the bonus point that is accrued on by membership card and there was some confusion though there was a balance they were not able to redeem through the machine and says it is a wrong card. Finally for the purchase I made I have to pay cash. the same was escalated to Reliance Fresh Mumbai Ho and a lady spoke to me stating that she will do the needful within three days so whatever the credit in my previous card will be transferred to the new card. After 7 days, I happened to purchase some items for which the manager says that the credit in my previous card is not yet transferred. I had a credit of Rs 177 and my purchase was only Rs 162. I spoke to the manager and told him that it is not done and I will not pay a single penny. After a couple of days I visited the Reliance store for purchase and they told me that the credit is around Rs 182 and after adjusting the previous purchase of Rs 162, the balance credit available is Rs 20/- . On that I had purchased items worth of Rs 177/- for which the lady at the counter told me that I need to pay the amount in cash for that purchase which was paid by me. When today I went for purchase at the store, the lady asked me whether I had paid Rs 177 last time wherein I got annoyed, The lady at the counter was new and I happened to see her first time and not have any exposure . For each entry she checks with her colleagues.Insulting customers will create a bad impact on the company I have a couple of points to make 1) Train the counter cashiers properly and no new staff should be posted there immediately after appointment. 2) The cashier should be supervised regularly until such time wherein they are successful. 3) The staff should not speak like what happened to me last time - inquiry as to whether the customer has paid the amount which creates a cheap look on the regular customer in the presence of others. We are people who have held senior level positions and these type of instances will hurt our feelings . Please take stringent measures or else it will cause hindrances to the brand, how people see it and measure it. I am well wisher of Reliance brand and hence this mail.
