[Resolved]  Reliance Fresh — Lies, cheating and harassment

Today on 21st August 2014, I had gone for purchases to the RF branch at Pottamal, Kozhikode (Calicut). I have been shopping at this branch for the last one year or more, ever since I shifted to this city from Delhi after retirement. ( That I am a regular customer will be shown by my Reliance One card records)
While I was selecting my items for purchase, an Assistant Manager came running to me stating that there had been a mistake in the payments made by me the last time I had shopped at the store. And a shop Assistant Meghana had lost some money as a result of this.
I remembered that during my earlier visit ( probably around15th August ) the machine wouldn't print the bill and the shop Assistant had verbally given me the total amount, received cash and returned the balance. In spite of mmy waiting for more than ten minutes, I had to leave without receiving the bill/receipt for payment. Knowing this I was willing to help clarify the matter, as I didn't want some poor employee to suffer.
The next half hour was sheer hell for me.
First the Assistant Manager showed me a photocopy of the old bill and claimed that the total bill was for Rs.1761 and I had paid only Rs.1002 and I must now pay Rs.761 more. I told him I remembered very well that I had paid Rs.2002 and that's why I got the balance.(I still do not know how this photocopy of the supposed receipt showed receipt of only Rs.1002). This matter was cleared as soon as lengthy procedure of looking at the camera shot for the day was done clearly showing that I has paid Rs.2002.
Now the next step was in fact what I was telling them that since no printed bill was provided ( not giving me a chance either to check the correctness or the amount) the mistake by the shop Assistant could have been in the cash she returned to me. This turned out to be the case.The shop Assistant and the Supervisor (a lady) who seems to be responsible for the monitoring of the machine were called. The Supervisor confirmed that a short of Rs.499 had been shown against that Shop Assisant, Meghana for that day. I paid Rs.500 to the shop assistant in the presence of the Supervisor, the Assistant Manager and another official who was not form the Branch, but an ALOP or holding some such designation,
My complaints are as follows:
1. Why no apology was given for not printing out the Bill on the earlier occasion, and why no copy was given to me now that it was subsequently printed ?
2. Why was the Assistant Manager prepare a false document, showing I had paid Rs.1002, and demanded Rs. 761 ? It is only because of the camera proof that the ALOP ( from outside the Branch) could confirm that I had actually paid Rs.2002
3. Could all this camera research have not been done earlier, and I an old man made to wait for more than half an hour after the shopping was done and finished.
4. And to add insult to injury, when I reached home, I found that I had been been overcharged for one item. Against a purchase of around 500 gms of Okra the bill showed that I had been charged for more thatn 1.540 Kgs. Will the Manager or Assistant Manager now look at the camera evidence to see how this has happenned ?
5.Earlier too there had been mistakes which had been minor and I did not bother to take it up. For instance in between when Britannia rusks were under promotion, there was 15 percent off if two packets were purchased but this was not given.
Will somebody take note of the functioning of this branch and see why such stupid mistakes are happening. Will I finally get an apology for their (staff's) inconsiderate behaviour, from someone responsible?
