Reliance General Insurance — NCB issue and response on communication

Dear Officer, Its disheartening that M/s reliance gen insurance company is so paying zero attention towards its policy holder.I have written many emails, spoken to customer care number but all went without concrete resolution. Whole story can be summarised as below:I went with reliance motor insurance vide policy no [protected] in feb 2015. Payment of policy premium was made online. As promised i also received hard copy of policy document with week's time. Then on 16th March i received a letter from reliance that my previous policy company has not provided NCB certificate so i should pay the 20% amount (Rs 1371) within 15 days else my policy becomes void. Since the reci[pt of this letter i am contacting reliance to inform that i have taken no claim in my old policy. To this response from reliance was that i should contact my old policy company and submit NCB certificate to reliance branch. I conveyed my inablity to contact old company as that was done from dealer of my car in Haryana while i am now located at Dehradun. Then they said that they will respond to my question after consulting internally. But till date i have not heard any call or letter or email from reliance in this regard.I use to receive 100's of calls from reliance executive when i was in process to take policy from them. But now when payment is made they are not bothered to listen. Top of that they are away from their responsibility by simply sending a letter stating that your policy will become void since date of its inception if i fail to pay Rs 1371 within 15 days.I have written so many email in this regard to reliance but i got no revert.If reliance does not want to provide policy then they should refund me all the amount paid to them with compensation to keep my insurance live.
