K NO [protected] Dear Madam/Sir, I am a resident of Siddhartha Extension New Delhi - 110014. I have received my Bill amount as 8782/-for 85 days from 06th May 2014 till 30th July 2014.. I tried to lodge a complaint regarding fast meter and improper billing and visited the Delhi Jal Board office in Jal Vihar, New Delhi. I met the officials sitting there but they made one or the excuses and tried to play the blame game. They tried to convince me by saying that they have given out the contract of fixing new meters to SPL and so they are not responsible for faster meter billing and so if I have any issues then instead of making complaint here, I should approach them. Here I would like to mention that from past so many days I have been travelling and the house has been locked, therefore, the consumption cant be that much what DJB is showing. From almost many years I have been getting approx. 500-600 billing but this bill I have received shows meter reading unit as 188 for 85 days from 06th May 2014 till 30th July 2014. I have already submitted the payment on online but believe me I have been facing a lot of mental harassment and torture from the day I have received the bill. But just because I did not want to undergo any further harrassment from DJB I have submitted the payment. I would be obliged if you kindly check the meter and kindly see to it that I am not further harassed from DJB and therefore would request you to kindly take immediate action in this regard.
