Hi.. My name is Vijesh from Cochin. I purchased one Royal enfield 500 CC bike from one of my cousin on last week. Since I know this bike very much and it runs only very low KM 18000/- within 4 years. But after a week, It had starting problem. I thought the battery was weak. I check the battery in locally, It was fine. Then i called the Showroom, they ask me to bring it. After I waited 4 hours, the mechanic said the Fuel injection problem, Hence they want minimum 2 days time for a detail checkups. I said OK. Day after he called me and said the problem is not the fuel injector ( By the time I paid Rs: 2400 /- ) for cleaning the fuel tank, filter, 2 plugs and censor checkup + GST. Then service manager came and said this Bike's real issue is the fuel pump. So the cost for the fuel pump, he said Rs: 12000 /- . I literally SHOCKED !! Now I don't know What to Do !
I don't recommend this Royal Enfield 500 cc Fuel Injection model to anyone..

I have 500cc Classic, while i was riding bike petrol was leaking, i went to service station and they said that fuel pump broken and need to replace it and its cost is 9000 it seems. in last one year my bike ride was around 7000kms only, still i face this issue. I am not understanding after taking 2.25 Lakhs of bike price, they use worst product. Please let me know how to proceed this.
The same issue of fuel pump nozzel breaking while riding, on my 2017 desert Storm . Royal Enfield should take this seriously now . It's the second time for me . really fed up from this !

indeed the COMPANY "ROYAL ENFIELD" should take the matter seriously i too own a ROYAL ENFIELD DESERT STORM 2017 make" and I have the same problem with the so called PLASTIC FUEL pump, my fuel pump has broken down second time wihtout any interference ... the nozzle has a crack.. i usually use the bike on weekends and hardly drive it 20 to 40 kms a week... it's alwaz in my garage.. yet the pump cracks without any reason.. such a delicate and fragile part...
I have called the service station near to me i.e. vapi and am gonna take the issue seriously... how could the company supply such a important spare part made of plastic material... it's not a joke to replace the fuel pump costing @ Rs.8000/- every now and then.. i'v had this problem 2nd time within 1 year...
