Rto India — Mismanagement of Zebra Crossing | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to bring under your kind notification once can easily see the mismanagement of Zebra crossing practice by the vehicle drivers, supported by Local Traffic officials at Parel TT signal(Madke Buwa Chowk). In this vicinity there are multiple hospitals (KEM, Wadia, Tata, Bachooalli, Mahatma Gandhi, and Global Hospital) and hence Jerbai Wadia Road and Acharya Donde Marg (Parel Road) is always packed with thousands of ailing commuters who travels daily from local and outside city/state. The only way to the nearest Railway station (Elphistone Road and Parel) is Jagannath Bhatankar Marg, for which people coming from Jerbai wadia Road and Acharya Donde Marg (Parel Road) has to cross the big signal at Parel TT(opposite to “F”Ward BMC office), though there is a Zebra crossing printed but all the vehicles heading from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Road covers the Zebra crossing in the presence of the officials due to which these Pedestrians have to risk their lives and search for a narrow gap of Vehicles and then cross the road to proceed. Can someone from the Authority look in this and instruct the local officials to adhere the rule. I am not asking for a big thing here, just requesting to follow the basic civic rules.
