Sir, on 23/6/2015, I received the following message in my mobile phone- “Request completed for Active English, Rs 49. Current a/c bal Rs 308.35 Due date 30-Jul-15. New Monthly Charges Rs 249.” The above message is a big fraud with me as I never requested Tata Sky from my registered mobile no. [protected] for activating any such service/channel. Such type of behavior was not expected from a reputed organization like Tata Sky. Now I request you to restore my earlier package of Rs. 200/- P.M. and change the next recharge date to 9/8/2015 as advised to me earlier by Tata Sky. I also request you to take strict action against such guilty/ unscrupulous staff for mis-selling and refrain from such malpractices in future. It seems that the frauds in Tata Sky are committed by the employees in connivance and with the consent of the top management. It is very shameful that the a company like Tata Sky is now adopting such malpractices.Has the financial position of the company become so poor that the company is now forced to follow malpractices to earn revenue? Is the company on the verge of insolvency? there is no message from my registered mobile number for activating any service and my consent to pay for the same. It seems that the grievances redressal machinery is also totally defunct and ineffective.
