[Resolved] Samsung India — Samsung TV | |||||
I have purchased television in August 2015. The television was in working condition till July 2015 and then I started facing power issues and the TV did not used to switch on. An engineer visited my place after at least 10 reminders and then suggested that there is no problem and the TV is working fine. I am not sure if he even had a clue of what was wrong. September last week, I started facing the power issues again. Again, as in the first occasion, it took at least 4 calls for me to get the engineer come home on 8 October 2016. The person who came home did not have any clue on what was the issue. He said there seems to be some issue in the motherboard and we will have to replace this. He said he will let me know the cost on the same day or latest by Monday 10 October 2016. I did not get any calls on Saturday or Monday. I waited till Wednesday 12 October 2016 when I called the customer care again. They said we will revert latest by the next day I.e. 13 October 2016. No revert again on 13 October 2016. On the evening of 13 October 2016, I again called up customer care and they said that someone will visit your house definitely by 14 October 2016. Again no response. I again called on 15 October 2016 and they said we will send someone for sure on 16 October 2016. No one arrived on that day as well but being a Sunday I thought it may be unreasonable so waited patiently till 17 October 2016. Finally on 17 October 2016 someone visited my place and said there seems to be some issue with motherboard and they will inquire about the cost and come back. My wife chased that person for a couple of days but he did not revert with the quote. On Friday, 21 October 2016 someone did revert and said they will come home on 22 October 2016. Someone did visit home with some part but it seemed there was no issue in that part and some other part was damaged. Today is 24 October 2016 and I am still waiting for their revert to first understand what is wrong and then resolve the issue. So much harassment from one of the biggest global companies in the world. I have made over 15 calls, posted complaints thrice on facebook, several emails to the CEO desk of Samsung and after 3 engineer visits, SAMSUNG has not been able to resolve the issue. Please help me and my family from this mental trauma and refund us the TV cost or exchange the old one. We are tired of chasing Samsung for a simple repair and waste so much of our time behind this. For a big company, we may be a small customer but please understand that it is a big investment for us. Will appreciate your soonest revert on this. Was this information helpful? | |||||
