[Resolved]  Samsung — Samsung 40 inch LCD TV Panel Failure in Just 2.5 Years

Dear All, This is to inform you that, I bought the Samsung 40 inch LCD TV (model no: LA40D550K1RLXL and Sr no: MPZP3PB13902674L) in november 2011, Unfortunately from last few days VERTICAL LINES started appearing on half of the screen and I called a Samsung technician regarding this issue and he said that it is the problem with PANEL which can only be rectified by replacement of the panel and it is a very expensive affair. The cost estimation is given approx. Rs.17, 800/-. This is most unfortunate, this television is just 2.5 years old and I am facing a major fault with the TV set which involves changing of complete viewing panel. I bought this TV in 49000 and now it is worth nothing . I have never expected such low quality product from SAMSUNG, I am very disappointed and depressed as I don't have that much money for new panel It is a product defect and certainly Samsung should take responsibility for the screen, On this above context, I am requesting / appealing to SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS to take up this as an exceptional case and replace the PANEL at minimum cost as it is just 2 and half year old TV. It is my expectation from you, to look into this and show a way out, to solve the issue cordially so that the customer satisfaction is highly appreciated. I am writing this post with lots of hope.
