Samsung — Unsatisfactory service/ unresonable service charges even though my phone was under warranty | |||
I purchased a Samsung galaxy GRAND in July '13 and from last week I am facing following issue:- My mobile gets switched off automatically and then does not switch on for 12-15 hrs. even after using power button. Then yesterday(15-Apr-2014) it switched off completely never to switch on again. I took my phone to following service center:- System & Services CD-7 Salt Lake City, Sector -1, Near Seba Hospital - Kolkata As my phone was in warranty they made a story that my phone has been liquid damaged (water maybe) and said for this we have to change the part (where USB cable is plugged in phone) and said that I will have to pay. That part was working very fine and my phone was getting charged before the problem. I told them to solve my problem and do not change the part but they said that "if we will insert our USB cable in this part our cable will become faulty" (I do not know how on earth it is possible). I said use my USB cable they said "our computer will become faulty anyways if we will connect with this mobile without changing the part(where USB cable is plugged in phone) " (I was "how samsung trains its engineers"). After all since I had no other option I gave them Rs.380 even though my phone was in warranty. Today(16-Apr-2014), I received my mobile and the problem is still there my phone is again dead. Do never purchase Samsung phone in your life. Was this information helpful? | |||
