SBI Cards — Complaint on customer care | |||
1. When I tried to contact SBI cards customer card in last year, the IVRS was telling a waiting period of 10 minutes due to system upradation. On 13 Jun 2015, at 10:20, I tried to contact customer care, the IVRS is again telling waiting period of 20 minutes due to system upgradation. This is the first message given by IVRS to each customer calling SBI Cards Customer care. Further the problem is that the toll free numbers provided can only be contacted from BSNL numbers (There is no BSNL services in Delhi), and when I tried to call the toll free customer card BSNL number, the call is never being connected. It gets disconnected after two three rings/ bells. So the problem faced by the customer is that they can call only the number[protected], which is a land line and chargeable for each customers for calls. As the waiting period for every call is 10 minutes, it takes the customer to unnecessarily pay the cash for every call. When i was connected to customer care, I asked them the procedure to cancel the card due to the long waiting period to clear any issued related to card. They told me to hold and in the meantime they dropped the call. If I want to call the customer care, again I have to wait for another 15 minutes spending my cash on my mobile as call charges to get connected to cus care, and this is not a fare practice The system of customer care is to provide instant releif to any grievances, but SBI is not providing it.
