[Resolved] SBI Cards — Wrong status sent to CIBIL | |||
My self Mithun Das. This is complain is regarding SBI card ending with 2975. I am living abroad for last three years and did not use my SBI Credit Card since then. It was a life time free card and there was no outstanding after I made prepayment of a personal loan ( around 1.5 lakh) in 2012. All of a sudden I checked my card online and noticed around INR 2200 outstanding. When I checked all previous months statement, I found annual fees of INR 250 was charged in November 2013 ! Late fees & interest accumulated to INR 2200. I contacted SBI customer care and requested to waive of the late fees/interest ( Interaction Id:[protected]. Even I was interested to make full payment and close the account to avoid any charges in future. After several weeks struggle, I contacted SBI customer care over telephone. They nullified the outstanding and informed I don't need to pay anything. Also informed account is closed as per request. Last week I applied for a housing loan in India and they checked CIBIL report and found SBI marked my account 'WritenOff' ! I never asked them to settle my account. Even I was ready to make the payment. This is was humiliating. I again emailed to SBI customer care two days back but have not heard anything back from them yet. Was this information helpful? | |||
