[Resolved] Shop CJ and Electrolux — Very Poor customer service of ShopCJ and Electrolux service centre | |||
This is regarding ShopCJ Order No.[protected] and the purchased Item name: Electrolux 20L Grill M/OG20M. I've placed the order with ShopCJ on 30th June 2015 and it was not delivered in first go rather the message on delivery is specified as 'CONCERNED CUSTOMER/PERSON NOT AVAILABLE' which is definitely not true. I had to chase a lot and then finally it got delivered only on 11th Jul 2015. After delivery within 2days I've noticed that the microwave just gets on but does not get heated at all. So it is like a show piece. I've complained to ShopCJ and they have given me Electrolux customer care no. saying they need to visit and certify that the microwave is not working by giving a service letter. Without the service letter from Electrolux, I was mentioned ShopCJ will not be able to register any complaint nor process replacement/refund. I've called Electrolux customer care and registered the complaint no. ref# EHYD[protected]. They mentioned that within 24hrs the technician will attend but the technician never turned up within 24hrs. Later took the technician no. and called him to check when is he going to come and also tried to let him know that on the weekend one day alone we might not be available at home. By that info, the technician took advantage to skip and not to attend our complaint. When I called back Electrolux customer care, then I am told that technician registered saying customer not available which is again not true. I had to keep chasing for the technician to visit and give me the service letter saying the microwave does not work at all. With lot of chasing finally I could get the technician to visit and give me the service letter on 22nd Jul 2015. After that I've e-mailed the same to ShopCJ asking me to process my refund as they have given me a defective item and also called the ShopCJ customer care to check on it. I was told within 24hrs they will get back. No one got back even after 24hrs and when I call on 23rd Jul (today), at first instance I am being told that it will take 4days to get back to me. When I shouted back saying why there is no acknowledgement at all for my e-mail and just like that they are passing days so that I do not get the refund. After questioning so much I am being told that return or refund will be processed only within 2days of the delivery and hence it is not possible to refund. I have lost my patience and I have shouted back saying I had called them to complain about the defective item within 2days of the delivery but no one bothered to register it nor acted on it till now rather than just passing days by re-directing to Electrolux etc. After all the shouting, I am being told that they now registered the complaint today for the first time (never before though I called many times) but no reference no. They say they will get back in 1 or 2 days. I'm not sure still if my refund will be processed or not as they seem to be just like that dragging it and passing the ball w/o any action. This kind of customer service of ShopCJ and Electrolux service centre is really ridiculous and frustrating. Was this information helpful? | |||
