[Resolved]  Siemens — Very bad quality of Siemens washing machine (Complaint no.[protected].)

This is regarding the Siemens washing machine I bought from Siemens Showroom at 9th Jayanagar, Bangalore. Last week all of sudden my machine stopped working. I logged a complaint with customer care on this number [protected].with complaint no.[protected]. And my machine was diagnosed with some issue with front panel (the module), which needs to be replaced with new and the cost of same is 9600/-. The reason was told to have fluctuating voltage in my house. I am just wondering how come my washing machine front panel stopped working when my all electrical instrument is working fine without any problem and I have never noticed any voltage fluctuation in my apartment since past 5 years. There is not a single case of any electronic equipment failure because of the above mentioned reason in my apartment. There are around 1000 flats over here. I am surprised to see that the quality of parts used in the washing machine is so poor that the front panel has gone in just 2.5 years. I chose Siemens washing machine over other brands because quality was the prime consideration for me. Even I have recommended many of my other colleagues and friends to buy Siemens washing machine. Myself, being a Siemens employee it is very frustrating and very annoying experience that quality is so poor.
