World Education Service does not recognize Sikkim Manipal University. Students' career is at stake and Sikkim Manipal University has nothing to say about it. UGC recognises and no one cares about WES other than you. Harvard University is not there in the UGC list, so does that make Harvard a lower grade university.
If anyone wants go for higher studies abroad, most of the universities use credential evaluation by WES. And on campus degree from Sikkim Manipal will be confined to MBA or whatsoever from unrecognised university in most of the cases(especially for Canada).
But why should anyone go for higher studies abroad. There are good institutes within India itself

While have contacted SMU official, he twisted the fact saying we have complaint to WES but they are not replying, but he never accepts the fact that, SMU is private university and is not graded yet by UGC.
So think those planning for studies abroad should not go ahead with SMU.
