[Resolved] Skoda India — Clutch Problem | |||
I own a Skoda Rapid bought in march 2013 . It developed clutch issue in the first 15K km. They said it is due to Driving style. It also had a gear issue which was covered under warranty. The clutch was a paid replacement. Now the car has run close to 30K Km. Again the clutch and entire assembly has become faulty and once again they say it is due to Driving style. There are many other cars on Indian roads where we do not see such problems. Looks like they have a genuine issue with design but they are parking this issue on the customer. Thus, please be careful before you make buy decision with this manufacturer. this has been the worst experience for me in all these years. Was this information helpful? | |||

Yes they put faulty clutch.
Car drove25, 000 kms without clutch issues after that.clutj gone twice within 4500 kms twice!!!
Same driver for 25000kms and 4500kms!!!
1)To top it my clutch was changed twice in 1.5 months... Meaning they provide faulty clutch which breakdown in middle of highway .So cleaver that these are not covered in warranty.
2) because of faulty clutch both flywheel and clutch we're damaged.
3) they will give estimate to change everything including cylinders.i[censored] refuse then hey change the taco and do clutch change alone.
4)Also the showrooms does not know about Cruise control.they deactivated it when delivered to me.then they did not know how to activate it.car was in shed fo 1 week since they were struggling to activate it.
5)they charge some 500 bucks for cleaning which is hidden in the bill.
Don't buy skoda they are cheaters.we're told by another service station that they doubt whether clutch is changed !!! . With faulty clutch, flywheel is worn out.then they changed statement after some beating from their headquarters.

Its sad. Which place and dealer are you referring here bro? I own a Superb, did suffer in the begining but now they are prompt with their responses and improved on their services as well.
