[Resolved]  Skoda India — Yello Coil Light Issue

Below is the email sent to Skoda Customer Care and after ensuring the prob is fixed i am facing same prob again: "My name is Nilesh Varma. I purchased my Skoda Rapid (Reg. No MH:14 DT-2376) in Jan 2013. After few days only I started facing a technical problem where a Yellow Coil Light start blinking continuously and at that point the car doesn’t accelerate. There is no speed to the car. This problem was reported during my first servicing at Europa Auto, Pune (which is now closed). They said that they have done fine tuning and the problem shouldn’t occur. However, after this also the problem occurred frequently. I waited for few days thinking that the problem will go away automatically but I was wrong and the problem still persists. During my 2nd servicing (after 30000 kms) I informed about the problem to Viraaj Auto, Pune (authorized dealer) and after servicing they said that the problem didn’t occur during servicing period so they couldn’t fix it. But then the problem became very frequent and I dropped my car to the same service center on 20th March 2014. They said that they could reproduce the problem but is not fixed and are talking with the Skoda Technical team to resolve this. I accepted this as I know not all problems can be solved by them. However, my major concern is that this technical problem was originally in the car and I understand that a faulty car was given to me. To fix this problem they have opened the complete engine and wiring to check the issue. My worry is that due to this there can be any other problem also. From the customer point of view I would request Skoda Team to look into it seriously and also I am looking for an extended warranty for more 2 years as I don’t know what all issues can come after this. Also, if the problem is not solved this time I will be seeking some sort of Legal action to get my car replaced totally by Skoda. My contact number is +91-[protected]."
