Sonata — Regarding Problem in New Watch (09 days old)

I have purchased Sonata Super Fibre Touch Screen Watch (Model No. - NE7992PP01J) from Prime Time Shop, Sec 6 Bhilai (490006), C.G. on 08/01/2015. On 17/01/2015 the light in the watch stopped working at the same day I have launched a complaint to the shop keeper and left the watch for necessary rectification. I got reply that minimum period for rectification would be 20 days. I want to know is it the policy of the company to take minimum 20 days to take any type of rectification in the brand new watch ? Pl. inform me that how could I get my solution at earliest.

Dear Sir,

I had bought my sonata wrist watch on 3/2/2017 from hedrabaad. which has defective (off) from 14/2/2017.
