Dear Sir/Ma'am,
This is intended to complain about the poor service I am being provided by the Sony Service Center. I deposited my phone Xperia Z on August 25, 2014 for repairing the cracked screen and still haven't received it back. They keep on extending the date of returning.
I was given the time of 10-15 days and now, even after 21 days, I have no clue as to when I will get it back. I have been calling them and even paying visits to the service center (I deposited the phone at the Nehru Place Center, New Delhi), all in vain. The staff is not at all cooperative. They just tell me that the phone is at main center and nothing else. Even they have no idea as to by when the phone will be repaired.
I bought Xperia Z with high hopes and a "brand-trust", but experiences like these when the "shatter proof" phone screen breaks so easily with just a little drop (from a height of 2-2.5 inches and I am stunned) on the table and the company shows inconsistencies to such extent in repairing the device. Moreover, the temporary phone (Xperia Tipo) they have provided me until my Xperia Z repairs, is of no use.It uses nano SIM while my Xperia Z had micro SIM. Such level of ignorance towards customers' need and time is unacceptable.
The case was registered as accidental, but the real reason was the poor build of the screen glass. Sony is not providing what it promises.
I am completely annoyed from the quality and the service both, provided by "trusted" Sony brand and is looking forward to pursue this case further in the Customer Court, if no "Immediate" solution is provided.
Hoping to get the problem rectified and trust in the brand intact.
