Sony India — Defective Sony LED TV | |||
Hi, I had purchased a Sony LED TV in June 2011 for Rs.90, 000. Since I'm a Sony brand loyalist, I went ahead with such a huge purchase but was shocked and truly disappointed when 15days ago the TV started developing a black line in the middle of the screen whenever we switched it on as if the TV was broken into two halves. When the mechanic from Sony TV came home to check the problem, he said that to fix this problem we would have to shell out another Rs.30, 000 since we had surpassed the 2 yr warrant period and to fix the problem the TV's entire internal set up would have to be changed. This is really upsetting and disappointing because after making such a huge purchase, if the product is of such low quality then Sony TV would start losing its loyal consumer base. I want the TV to be exchanged or Sony TV India to address my problem in the right way. Was this information helpful? | |||
