Sony India — Disappointed by sony centre services

I bought my Sony Xperia M on 09.10.2013.Not even a single year passed and it started showing charging problems.The charge used to drain even when the phone was not in use and used to get switched off...also the phone after sometime stopped responding to charging.I gave it for repair to Sony service centre at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi.They said that the software is at fault and since the warranty period had expired, they demanded Rs.8000...while it was a manufacturing defect, they should have done it for free.I never thought a Sony branded phone would cause so much trouble in just 1 year o[censored]se. And the Sony Service centre's unacceptable pricing for repair...m hugely disappointed.I could certainly get a new smartphone at 8k.On top of it when they returned the phone, to my surprise, my phone's sim card slot was removed and exchanged with a damaged one.Now I am getting it repaired for Rs.1500.I am furiated by Sony's services and I'll make sure that none of my family members buy anything of Sony branding.Highly disgusting services...not something expected of Sony.
