[Resolved]  Sony India — Dual images in 3D LED TV model (KDL40EX720)

I had purchased a Sony Bravia 40” TV (KDL40EX720) 3D LED television on 09/08/2011. The unit along with a PS3 module cost me Rs.1, 00, 000. In about 3 years and 2 months time I started seeing a dual image on the TV. I registered my complaint via Sony center, Trivandrum and the complaint was forwarded to a technician called Mani. When we contacted him and told the symptoms he said that it is a problem with the display panel. We had to convince him to come to our home and check the TV. After inspecting the TV he said that the panel has to be replaced at a cost of Rs 30, 000. I understand from different Bravia users that this is a common complaint or problem with LED TV's which Sony has not yet managed to rectify. I am a proud owner of Sony gadgets ranging from laptops to mobile phones. Many in our family and friend's circle including me used to think that Sony was a reliable brand. This incident has made me refrain from Sony products. So I request you to rectify or replace the panel. Hope I will get a reply as soon as possible.
