Sony India — LED TV display Failure | |||
Dear Sir, We bought a Sony LED TV EX520 on[protected] for Rs64900. The TV was powered by Branded company Stabilizer to avoid damages due to power fluctuations. Suddenly there appeared red line on top of the screen. It was made as a complaint and a complaint was registered, the service man from Sony came and inspected and told the display has failed and it needs to be replaced and it would cost around Rs22000. This is really shocking from a reputed company like SONY to prepare a product which does not last even for few years. The service man told it was due to power fluctuations. But the TV was powered by a stabilizer. The company does not take any ownership of a failed product. This really creates a insecurity among us in buying a Sony Product in future. The customer ID is [protected]. I hope the concerned authorities from Sony India shall treat this compliance with due respect and shall be responsible for rectifying the failure of the TV.
