Dear All concerned,
I own a Sony LED TV which was delivered directly from Sony Company outlet in Kolkata on July 2014..
The said TV was a repleacement AGAINST my earlier SONY LCD TV which went kaput..
To me & my family's uter surprise, this new set (which is well within the warranty period), beat its earlier predeccesor in the sense that the display pictures were erractic, picture-in-picture, shadow, lines on screen all came up in a very short time of 10 months from purchase..
Being hapless & again on connecting with the Consumer complaints help line & booking a service request, on inspection the concerned service engineer game a standard reply - panel needs to be replaced & we will have the TV lifted to our location for 4-5 days repair job.
Now my only question is : How does such a reputed company like Sony produce such faulty TVs... also when I was a victim of the same with my earlier set, why was enough care not taken to give me a TESTED, CHECKED & AUTHENTIC set...
What is the guaramtee now that after a visit to the service engineer my current set will not give me any further problems...
May I take this opportunity to request that a Sony company engineer be alloted to check the faulty TV & advise.. Would also urge your goodself to get into the crix of the problem to provide a suitable & apt solution...
Very much hurt, but waiting for an expedited response from you end to end the ordeal..
