Sony India — Poor Customer service | |||
I purchased Sony Xperia ZL mobile phone during 2013 April. When the warranty was about to end that is by April 2014, my battery started draning faster than normal. I reported this to KG Electronics (Authorized Sony service Centre) Coimbatore. They took it and flashed the OS and returned back saying the issue is resolved. I took it back to them 2 days after saying the complaint is not resolved. But they said few remedies to improve battery performance. I tried it for few days and did notice a a little improvement. But after 3 months of this incident now my mobile will not switch on unless it is plugged into the charger. The mobile works perfectly fine when plugged into the power adapter. I took it back to them and reported this and now they claim its motherboard problem and it cannot be serviced. I can return the old phone to Sony and get a concession for purchasing a new phone from them is what the info given to me by them. If they had resolved the issue properly when it was under warranty I would have been on my way merrily. I paid 37K to Sony mobile and get this kind of response when I can pay less than 15K for a same kind of china/korean model phones and get this response. I would atleast save money. Electronics can go bad any time but the after sales service is what matters.Customers pay more money for this reason. So that Sony will provide us some extensive support isnt it? All I am asking them now is to service the mobile and I will pay the charges that it incurs. I would like to register a complaint on this. Any ideas please. Was this information helpful? | |||
