Sony India — Sony bravia brand issue | |||
I bought a Sony bravia TV model KLV-24R422A on 31 Aug 2013 with 1 year warranty.. Now on Nov15th 2014 the TV stopped working.. So we approached to the customer service and they checked and told us that the main board got repaired and it costs Rs. 5000/-. they told us that they will check with sony whether the cost can be barred by them since the problem occurs after 3 months of expiration..Then after some days they told us the cost should be barred by us. This is completely not acceptable..because we bought the TV for Rs. 16900 and now the repair cost is Rs5000 which is almost 1/3 of the TV cost and that too within 3 months of warranty completion..
