As discussed with the customer care executive, yesterday I submitted the issue in writing on questions.[protected]@support.sonymobiles.com.
I also attached 3 pictures of the Handset in Question, but didn’t receive any response, not even for acknowledgement or receipt of my issue at the mentioned email id. I am unable to attach any picture on this portal.
Let me detail my issue to you, my handset is barely 2 months old, there are no scratches/ any cracks on the phone and from day one, the best quality screen guard is installed. The handset didn't fall or was exposed to any damage, yet the service center people are saying that there is an internal damage. When the handset was not exposed to any damage how can there be any internal physical damage, more over I don’t use this handset at all times, the problem clearly is in the handset and I am being asked to pay 8500 rupees for the display screen replacement.
In addition to rupees 24, 000 and something within the span of less than 2months, I am being asked to pay 8500 additionally for no obvious damage, this is unacceptable.
Not expected this from Sony. 1st issue is with the Bad experience o[censored]sing Sony Handset and 2nd Issue is in the manner in which the issue is being handled. I always thought that Sony is reliable in this aspect.A hefty amount of rupees 8, 500 is being asked to pay for a damage that is a result of no exposure that may have resulted in this. I purchased Sony Handset thinking that though it is expensive at least it will be a long term reliable experience, but this incident has forced me to draw a bad experience and I would never recommend Sony Handsets to any acquaintance and am further going to raise this issue if my grievance is not handled in a proper manner. It’s a matter of consumer dissatisfaction.
Kindly respond to my complaint with a valid solution.
