I had purchased vaio laptop in August 2011. 4-5 months after the purchase the laptop started giving problems. In April 2012 it went for its 3rd repair afterwhich i took an extended warranty as the approach of SONY then had made me weary about the "quality" and "approach" of SONY.
A complaint was given in May 2012... Letter as under :

We have been contacting GALAXY at Gariahat Road in Kolkata (your authorised service centre) each time we have had a problem with our machine. Unfortunately, we have not not kept the job order no./log no. in our records. However, we believe you can retrieve the entire service history of the laptop from your computer records and will request you to kindly do so.

Soon after i realised that every time i travelled with the lap top i had to send it for repair.
I have complained umpteen no. of times regarding this and am SHOCKED to see the
no response attitude of your company.
The quality was definitely unacceptable but the response of sony is thoroughly disgusting and unethical.
Once again it has gone for repair even after treating as a desktop since 8 months now.
