Spice Jet Airlines — inflight hostesss misbehaving and no pre booked meal served and no response from spicejet | |||
Was travelling from Cochin to mumbai on 8th nov by spicejet. 1) pre booked tickets and meal on 1st april 2) 3 mails and 2 SMS from spicejet to re choose as menu had changed, promptly i did the needful 3)on board flight attendant first tells me my meal was not loaded in the aircraft by mistake so do i want a snack instead to which i nodded my head indicating NO. she frowns and goes to the other trolley and comes back with a food packet and in full view of co passengers and makes this statement " THIS IS MY MEAL AND YOU EAT IT". 4) i felt totally violated and tempers rose instantly. i said i dont need pity and why should i eat your food when i have paid for my food.give me my food or money back this instant.She refused the money and rudely pulled out the food on my table and said "IF YOU DONT WANT TO EAT THEN DONT EAT AND THREW A CARD AT ME AND SAID GO AND COMPLAIN WHEREVER YOU WANT ON THIS EMAIL ID."Co passengers also intervened and told her "HE IS RIGHT EITHER GIVE HIS FOOD OR MONEY". I asked her to give me in writing that food was not served and this ruckus happened which she refused.she even was not ready to give me her name and crew id. 5) By now tempers were high and other passengers stared getting involved in this argument.All the while i was seated on my seat right from cochin to mumbai. 6) later inflight supervisor comes and gives me her crew id and name.she also insisted me to have something and also said this doesn't mean i have willingly accepted the food served.7) just after getting down in mumbai i contact the duty supervisor Mr.Ganesh on the ground and tell my complaint as co passengers were still there in case spicejet wants to confirm the issue with them.He promised to take up this issue soon. 8) i call call centre and lodge a complaint ref:CR/330566/2014 9) call centre guy tells me to contact nodal officer whose lines are not available till date.He assures me a call back which till date has not happened. If passenger misbehaves crew can call CISF but i wonder what passenger does when crew misbehaves.SPICEJET customer service seems to least interested in taking up this complaint. Moral of this story is that three is no point in pre booking meals and moreover spicejet is interested in you only till the flight lands and then they don't know you.
