My sister and her son not allowed to board the plane despite having confirmed tickets. I had booked ticket for my Sister and her son using my credit card. (PNR E8TMVT) The original return journey date was 18th Oct 2014. On Sept 28th 2014, through spicejet website I changed return journey date to 22nd Nov 2014. For this change I paid 3700 INR through netbanking. On Journey date i.e on 22nd Nov, my sister and her son went for check-in, there they have been informed that the return journey date in their system is showing as Oct 18th instead of 22nd Nov. Today when they tried to checkin at Male airport, they were informed that the return date is on 18th Oct. So they did not issue the boarding pass to both of them. So they did not allow them to board the plane. Because of this my brother in law who has different ticket also not boarded the flight (PNR N6WT7Z). I have already raised the concern to spice customer care over phone. I have both the changed iternary which I downloaded from the spicejet website also banks transaction detail for the amount that paid for change. My sister and brother-in-law had to book another flight which was after 26th Nov for more price. Also they had to bear hotel and food charges during their four day stay at Male. I am attaching the below documents, 1. Tickets of Sister 2. Tickets of my brother-in-law 3. Bank statement 4. New tickets booked from other airlines for 26th Nov I will send the hotel and food bills once my sister arrives in India. Request for your eariliest response in this regards.
