[Resolved] Srm Transports — Not allowing to travel on booked ticket | |||
I booked a ticket with SRM for 23 January for traveling from Chennai to Trivandrum. The ticket was booked through Redbus and the number is TH2F[protected]ticket attached as support document). I made a mistake from my end while booking the ticket. I didn't choose my gender properly, so instead of male, I booked the seat as female. I fully accept this mistake from my end. But the bus operator did not let me travel on the date. Instead, they allowed some other lady to travel in my seat. They did not even let me take any other seat on the same bus or any other bus leaving that night. The person who checked the ticket is named Shiva. His behavior was completely and unacceptably rude toward me, and he did not even lift a finger to help me out. In addition, he let a lady travel in the seat that I booked. Coupled with not refunding my ticket, he has helped SRM make additional profit from my booking. The person in the booking office of SRM shouted at me and did not let me even cancel my ticket. Nobody in SRM has taken any step to help me out. I had to go around the place looking for another bus operator to get a ticket to travel to Kerala. This has given me a lot of trouble and financial loss as the SRM ticket cost me 1500 rupees. I would like to get proper refund from SRM and have proper action taken on Shiva, the person who was in charge of the bus at that time. Was this information helpful? | |||
