Standard Chartered Bank — Credit card wrong billing and no response from customer care | |||
I asked the customer care to cancel my credit card and then they asked me to pay whatever is remaining balance and I paid that. After, I received a mail saying that the card will be cancelled with in next 10 days. I haven't checked the status after that. Now after 3 months when I verified, I was charged Rs.5000 and interest on top of that and the credit card is not yet cancelled. I have no clue with out making any transactions how can they even charge me. And the worst part is that the card is not yet cancelled and I am being billed for the interest as well. I am not getting any monthly statements of the credit card to my email. When I write to customer care no one even cares to respond back. My credit card number is [protected].
