[Resolved] Standard Chartered Bank — Even Though request for credit card cancellation long back Banker is sending the Bill with annual fee with interest | |||
I took a Standard Chartered credit card one year back and at the time of issuing the card it was told that for first year there is no annual fees and from second year onwards there will be annual fees if I wanted to continue. After using the card for 2 months I wanted to cancel the card and informed the same to the customer care. After one year I received a bill showing the annual fee amount, so immediately I called the customer care and checked. The customer care executive told me that my card is still active and said he will raise request to deactivate the card and another request to cancel the card. He also mentioned that no need to pay any amount against the bill. But still I am getting the bills every month with interest is adding up along with late fee.
