I am being sent unnecessary emails of payment statement for annual charges on a card that I have never used .
I called the customer service and found that my card is already deactivated. Then why am I being asked for this unnecessary money ? The amount keeps increasing month on month. The customer service is very impatient and not ready to listen to any concern. Very harsh behaviour and irresponsible attitude from the customer service agents. I asked the customer service agent why I am not being contacted by the bank even for a reminder when I did not pay the first bill. They say that they don't have such a practice. My question is, "will the bank keep quiet and keep sending me payment statements to me even if I don't pay for the entire life ?" The answer to this by the customer service agent is, "after a while the bank's collection department will contact me". What is "after a while" ? Is it after the amount grows huge ? So that they can grab my money? I need an answer to this unethical practice.
