[Resolved]  Standard Chartered Bank — waive off Wrong Bill Charges

Credit Card No – [protected] Name of the card holder – Rajinder Singh With very disappointment, I am writing this email to you. My Dining Card ( which is optional with Credit card ) was renewed without even informing me and then handed over to someone else. As per Term and condition standard chartered should communicate when they renew the old card in an email form or over Phone. I was not at all informed about it. And in the month of May 2013 I have changed the Job & current Address(which is not updated with Bank). Then how come the Dining card was handed over to some else. Who signed to receive the card or the courier people took it ! Please help me out . I didn't receive any email on the day the card was renewed. Directly received the global statement July-2013 with the charges of renewed dining card and that time I talked to Standard chartered bank executive and he ensured me that they will be waive of the charges. But after some time their executive officer sent a email to me. And I replied on that email Dated 28.04.2014. And after few month they sent me a separate email (dtd. 26.08.14) and I replied on that email on dated 01.09.2014 but I have not got any reply and I send a reminder email on dated 17.09.2014 and They said we will handle this issue & get back to you within 4 working days.its been 4 months, response is still awaited and in between without intimation They put my civil status in negative .So I am facing a lot of problems. Please help me out.

Dear Sir, My credit card no is : [protected]I have already mailed several times regarding the issue of pending payment of Rs.10, 718.35.I
mailed on 28 April 2014 against your mail regarding my outstanding
amount, then they instead of replying me for the previous mail, again
mailed for the same, then I replied for it again on 1 sept. 2014, but
every time same response was given " will get back to you within 4
working days ", and till date the issue is pending .My
dining card ( which is an optional card ) was renewed even without
informing me, I never told to renew my card ( acc. To terms &
conditions you cant renew my dining card until & unless I asked for
the same ) & send the card to my address but the card was returned
to them as till that time my address was changed( as I changed my job) .
Then standard chartered bank informed me that your card is returned,
that moment I came to know that my card was renewed & when I asked,
your executives told that the amount charged for renewing will be
waived off to me . this conversation was of July 2013 and now instead of
waiving my money back to me you people are charging from me, and that
too an amount of rs.10, 718.35 .I have not purchased anything using this credit card, so it is not possible that any amount will be due on my side . I got your last mail on 23rd Dec. 2014 & I was not able to reply form last week as I met with an accident few days back .Kindly
go through the history of my mails once .Its been more than around 8
months ( where I have already mentioned all the details), no solution
is provided . And your executives are still giving those lame excuses.If
any of my mails or messages you have showing that I told to renew my
dining card then I am ready to pay my dues ( as neither I asked to
renew the card nor I was intimated from standard chartered bank for the
same ), otherwise I will have to take a serious action against all the

I think you people don't want to close the matter so that you can harass your customers & earn more out of it . You guys cant even make a
call as you are just trained to impose mental & financial pressure irrelevant of how badly it might effect life of others
