State Bank Of India [SBI] — Unauthorised Banking charges | |||||
Have my Savings Bank Account with SBI, Kaladarshan Char Rasta Branch, Waghodia Road, Vadodara. My A/C #[protected] Bank CIF #[protected]. 1st of all I would like to inform you that I opened this Account with Rs.1000/- where they told me there will be an insurance free for one year. On 14th July 2016 I went to branch to add my wife's name to operate the above account jointly. One officer gave me 3 forms to fill up. I filled up these forms with photographs & other required documents. They told me that the new passbook will be issued in a day or two. Thereafter I visited very next day for collecting the passbook.. Surprisingly, I received the same passbook without changing my new res.address and even without changing my wife's name.. When I talked to the Manager Mr. Kaushal Kishore, he responded that it is better to open a new account. I said why ? He told me it is very difficult to change the address or any other changes. There after I decided to close this account and I went to Bank on 18th July 2016 with all the chequebook, ATM card and other docs which I received at the time of opening the account. However, when I checked the balance of this account, it shows now only Rs.49/-. They deducted Rs.200/- for 2nd year premium and other charges which are unjustifiable. Under the circumstances, I just want to stop all the services which I have never availed till date. I want to stop the following services which they are denying. 1. Insurance facility. 2. ATM facility 3 Online Banking facility 4 SMS facility I request you to please look into the matter and do the needful in this matter so as I am not punished more for further period.
