[Resolved]  State Bank of India — Torn Notes coming from SBI ATM on 9 April 2014

Hi, I got 5 torn notes of 100 from SBI ATM on 9th April 2014, in Mhaswad branch( Satara district, Maharashtra). It was an emergency and when I approached Bank persons to get this replaced, they simply said I have to travel to Vaduj ( Another city almost 40 KM away from ATM) to get them exchanged. Is this the way they are providing service to the customer. No once including branch manager helped and I was helpless at the time of emergency. How can they put damaged notes into ATM, to get rid of them?? Not acceptable!!! Hanumant
