[Resolved] Stayzilla.com — Fraud - Booking not honoured | |||
I booked a hotel room at matheran thru stayzilla on 5th Aug for 15th Aug 2015. I paid the amount as per the listing on Stayzilla.com. But on 14th Aug around 4pm their customer support guy called and told that no rooms are available in that hotel and now hotel is accepting booking only for min 2 night stay. He offered me room in another hotel which is far away from the hotel where I made my booking. When I insisted on honouring my original booking I was told that he will call back after discussing with the manager. Later on I was told hotel agreed to 1 night booking but now assking for Rs 8500 and I need to pay additional amount when I said why should I pay, stayzilla agreed to pay partially but I didn't agree to that. Again I got a call from the Mr Imran from Stayzilla and he told that these policies are listed on their website as well hotel policies are like that. I couldn't attend my family reunion because of this fraud website and would recommend everyone to stay away from stayzilla. Was this information helpful? | |||
