Sterling Holidays — Final reminder regarding the cancellation of my membership | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, Since 4 months I am trying to take follow- up reading my cancellation of sterling holidays membership. Following are the sequence of events: When I had called the customer care for cancellation dt.21/07/14, the customer care staff asked me to call the sterling holidays executive who had approached me for the membership. I had informed your executive that without my prior confirmation do not proceed further. But in spite of this an amount of 22193 Rs. was deducted from my account. I had called and wrote mail for cancellation to your company representative Mr. shoeb shaikh (shoeb.[protected]@sterlingholidays.com and mobile no[protected]) and he informed me that your cancellation was in process and you will get refund of your money within two days’ time. After a week’s time I checked for the refunded amount, but the money was not refunded and I had called mr shoeb but he does not respond. After 15 days he called me along with Mr.Ansari and told me first you should accept the confirmation call only then can your cancellation process will begin. As per their instruction I accepted the confirmation call and intimated both of them just after the confirmation call. After that I tried so many time to talk to him(Mr.Shoeb) but he did not receive my call, so I called customer care and the executive suggested me to call Mr.Ansari, I followed that instruction and call Mr.Ansari.I spoke to Mr.Ansari and he told me we shall arrange for a conference call with Shoeb, but it did not happen and I kept on sending SMS to inform me about the conference call timing but no one responded to it. Then I had call Mr.Arjun and explained him all the matter and he told me that give me two day time & he will inform me. After twodays he told me that your cancellation is in process and you will get the refund of your amount within 15-20 days . Then after 25 days I called in your Mumbai branch, someone told me that Mr.Arjun left the company, and suggested me to call Mr.Jayant. I called Mr.JAyant, he told me that contact mr.Vinay, I have several time tried to contact Mr.Vinay but he never ever received my call. I sent many massages to Mr.Vinay for his assistance, but there was no response. His assistant told me that I am not eligible to get the refund because of following reason: 1. I did not apply for the cancellation within 10 days :- but I sent a cancellation mail next day itself. 2. I had given a positive feedback while confirmation call:- Because of your company representative told me to do so. In case if I had mailed your company for the cancellation request within 10 days, then why the second installment was deducted after 2 months. Any way please suggests me the Name and contact no of the person who has the authority to cancel and refund the amount. I am fed up of your company’s unresponsiveness and all these things have troubled me and given me a lot of mental stress. Kindly respond to this mail or I have decided for further legal action.
