Sir/Madam, There are 7 flats in our apartment. We have a common meter of which consumer ref : [protected]. And we all the flat owners proportionately divide and share the EB charges against this common connection. But unfortunately we have recently noticed that this common EB connection is being misused by one of the flat owner for long time as the name of the EB connection is in his father's name ( earlier he was the land owner). And this connection is being utilised for all the common usage. But he claims that this is his connection. He uses the common connection inside his house and controls all the common usage. For example we could not switch the power of our common motor to upload the water to the tank, as he takes the common connection in his house and controls all the common usage. He does not allow other owners to switch on the motor.So unless he switches on, we can't use the common meter power supply. This arrogant and indiscipline malpractice makes us uncomfortable and always annoyed. Each one of the flat owner is not ready to take action against him individually as each one is afraid of him. Though we have got freedom from British, we could not enjoy the freedom and our privilege. Initially we tried to take this issue with your area in-charge but we suspect that they do support for this misuse. Unfortunately someone of your staff comes and provides him all kind of information about the flats' connections, biill amounts, payment status etc. And based on which this owner disconnects the services of other flats' connections on the next of the payment due date. even no one is there in the flat and if we ask him, he says that EB staff has disconnected. And we know that EB will not disconnect on the next day itself and we are allowed to pay penalties. That is why we would like to take this issue directly to you. Hence requesting you to investigate this and kindly make arrangement to take out the connection from his house so as to not to utilise this connection for personal purposes and make us to enjoy the real freedom.
