Tata Docomo — Bad Product, Poor Service, Harassment with wrong invoicing

Purchased photon plus device and a pre paid 3 month 5GB plan in Bangalore (number [protected] a/c Id:[protected]. It didnot work from day one. Lodged complaint. They attempted but couldnot rectify it. Meantime 3 month period expired without using the product service. My investment gone waste. I mailed them that I dont need their services anymore. Then I switched over to a different service provider with an excellent customer focused services. Meantime, they didnot consider my request to disconnect the photon data service because they sent me a invoice after 2 months. I didnot understand how one can go ahead and invoice to customer when you have not rectified the service issue and more so after the customer has informed the services are no more needed ! I wrote them back to cancel the bill and disconnect the services immediately. They confirmed the service is now disconncted. But, voila ! I got the bill once again next month. But this time the bill amount was 4 times more !!! It was a pleasant surprise gift. Again, I took the trouble of explaining them. Didnot get any response however, 2 months down the line I received a notice from their legal cell to pay the due. Again, I wrote them back that this is a wrong billing. No response from them until last week where in, the same legal cell has sent me another prompt notice to pay the due within 3 days. After all explaining my doubts/concerns is the 'least' you could do. I recollect when govt owned bsnl land line went down in my home for more than a week without repair, they slashed my 15 days monthly rental as per rules and all I needed to do was give them a request letter. So I am really really surprised with my experience with photon. Since I didnot see their apellate and other contacts helping me much in the past, I have now written a complaint to their president Mr.Elango Thambiah 3 days ago and hoping things will be sorted out. Is there anything else that needs to be done to sensitize Tata Docomo ?
