[Resolved] Tata Docomo — Deduction of huge amount of balance for internet while the internet pack is still valid | |||
I have been using TATA Docomo from 2011. I have upgraded to a 3G mobile in 2012 and have been regularly using their 2G and 3G services. There were no issues initially. However, recently, an amount of more than Rs.200/- was deducted from my phone in a period of 2 days. I have called up the customer care (CC) to find out the details of deductions and was informed that it was for my internet usage. I have a special 3G recharge pack (Rs. 251/253) and have been on the same pack for the last year. This pack gives 1GB 3G data and 200 talktime. When I informed the CC exec that this was the case, he has replied that i have used chargeable websites. I do not believe that for a second. The only websites i use were fanfiction.net, google. irctc, etc. So I asked him to give me the details of the websites. He has mentioned that he could not see the websites but can tell that they are chargeable. I have explained that I still had free data left. Then he says that since I was using multiple applications that use internet, the balance is deducted from the main account balance. This was never the case. After much argument, my call was transferred to another dept. where i got the same response (even more rudely). This guy says that the cause for this was because I have used multiple applications that use internet. This was never mentioned in the Pack. I have got a confirmation from the same. I have told him that this is unfair and that I will go to the consumer forum. He asked me to do what I want. I humbly request justice.
