Tata Docomo — Postpaid plan downgrade

I am a user of tata photon connection for more than an year. When i took my postpaid connection with number [protected] they have given me the plan for 7GB at Rs. 750. Now they have reduce the plan to 5 GB and keep the same rate Rs. 750 without giving any notification over SMS and Email. Now they ask me to upgrade the plan to 8 GB at Rs. 1200. This is the kind of fraud TATA is doing with their consumer. They reduce the POSTPAID GB plan by themselves, make it increase and ask customer to go with increased plan and then again they will reduce the data to fetch more and more money from customer. Recommended to everyone not to go with TATA photon. They are doing fraudulent and making people fool. Pathetic...

I have been using Tata Docomo wifi dongle not even a year. Bought the dongle @Rs. 2000. I am on a monthly post paid plan of 20 GB plan @ Rs.1000. I have received a message today saying that the above 20 GB plan has been discontinued and that my plan is going to be migrated to a new plan which is 6GB @ Rs. 950. Ridiculous. This is less than 40%GB of the original plan and yet the price is the same. This is an outright unethical practise.

Looks like they were simply baiting people with a 20 GB plans to gain customers and then downgrading them once they have got us locked in. This is a highly unprofessional practise by Tata Docomo since they have made us invest a huge sum on the dongle.

Like most, I too do careful research while choosing a service provider and expect to continue with them for a few years at least. Looks like I am just going to cut my losses and hope Tata Docomo has the decency to refund the money I put on the dongle which they made redundant for me, in not even a year.
