Tata Docomo — Tata Docomo - Unsolicited billing for DSL internet connection

Hi, Its regarding DSL connection for account number #[protected]. As per the discussion with the customer care employee regarding our request to terminate the connection for account number #[protected], following points were covered: · Last Payment received on 19th October (full due clearance of 3370/-) · A letter of connection termination request was received at the Tata Docomo, Pimple Saudagar branch office and this was confirmed by the customer care official on call. · Connection holder has called up customer care as per Pimple Saudagar's office instruction to raise a request for connection termination on 20th October. · All the bills till date were diligently paid and no case of delaying or follow up was noticed(confirmed by the customer care official on call). · The request was registered and was told that the connection would be terminated on 15th day from the request. · We were still receiving this old connection bill even after the termination request and repeatedly asked to close the connection which didn't happen. · All calls from the customer care were received diligently and repeatedly asked for the same but no action was taken by Tata Docomo. · The connection was finally terminated on 9th Feb 2015 as per the customer care official. We being a customer did everything from our side and it is clearly a miss from the Service provider to process our request. Thus we hold no liability to pay the unnecessary amount or the charge of service which we never used. The customer is being unnecessarily harassed and would request Tata Teleservice to check upon their service. Now I am getting threatening calls from multiple people warning right from jail to police to dire consequences. PFB one sample mail. Ref: - Pre-Litigation No LK/TTML_1000 of July 2015. Sub: - Proposal of Tata Teleservices Limited, for presenting your dispute with regard to outstanding billing amount of Account No #[protected], before the Lok-Adalat for determination. Sir/Madam, Apropos to the subject mentioned above, you are hereby informed that, the Applicant Tata Teleservices Limited, Pune with regard to the outstanding billing amount of Rs. 3536/- has arranged a Pre-Litigation Lokadalat on Saturday dated 11-Jul-15 at 10.30 am to 4.00 pm.. It is contended that you have availed Services of Tata Teleservices Limited, but failed to pay the above mentioned billing amount. The particulars of which are as under:- 1. Type of the bill : Telephone/Data Card service/Broadband/Leasline rendered. 2. Name of Customer : MUKUL ( ANAND ) 3. Total Outstanding amount: : 3536/- Taking into consideration the aforesaid contentious issues, it is expedient for referring your matter at Pre-Litigation stage to Lok-Adalat u/s 19(5) (ii) of the Legal Services Authority Act, 1987 for final determination. Docomo DSL- Data number[protected] vide Account Number[protected].
The same is happening to me.

I have requested cancellation of the tata docomo broadband services on 13th feb 2016.

Cancellation Request number[protected].

But they never cancelled the connection and gave me a bill of Rs.1590.

when I called them then they said that your request has been closed because i called them and asked them to cancel this request. TOTAL LIE.

I never asked them to cancel my cancellation request ...but they did it on their own and
they are telling that i asked them to do so.

I told them that every customer care call gets recorded so they must have recorded my phone call too.
so i asked then to give me the recorded call where i said that i want to cancel my cancellation request.
And if i said so i will pay the whole amount that time itself.

But they never provided me any information regarding this and instead raised a new request, and gave me the bill for that month which i never used .

which i did not pay because i did not use . my billing month is 7 to 7 and the internet was not working from
10th of feb, so i raised a cancellation request on 13th and till then the connection was not working .

So i myself removed all the wires and connection from my home. and i never used docomo connection after that.

So i should not be paying any amount to tat docomo services.

I will have to pay for 8th feb and 9th feb and if you ar ebeing too greedy i will pay for 10th-13th during this time connection was not working but i will pay.

so that makes 6 days... which will account to RS. 318.
