[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — Upgrade to Tata Photon Max Wifi took more than 10 days

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a corporate customer for Tata Docomo

I lost my device and called first on July 6th to request for cancellation as I was frustrated with the performance of the device.

Note: Speed was pathetic and even in Bangalore where I stay. Complaints does not really work
with TATA and there is hardly any customer satisfaction.


I was persuaded for new plan Max Wifi with promise of best services and delivery within short time with
SLAs. On 8th July morning I confirmed that I want to shift to Max Wifi and 20GB plan.

I told them that I want the device delivered on priority basis and I am stuck without device. (I work from home)

Concerned person mentioned that the request will be taken on priority basis in next 48 hours.

I didn't receive any call till 17th July afternoon. I was regularly following up with them about the status of the request and what can I do to expedite the process. Every time I received only promises

I have called up daily from 8th onwards but no proper response received. They just mentioned that standard process is of max 7 days. and really frustrating to see no call back in 48 hours and no response in 7 days.


I called on 15th July and spoke to Swati, she mentioned that she will ensure that
the device reaches in 24 hours but nothing happened till 17th?

We sent twitter messages on 16th and received the promises

16th I called the customer care five times. Out of that, at three times my call got dropped in between by Tata Docomo Executive.

Two times I requested to talk to senior executive but they mentioned that senior is
busy. ????????

They said that we will arrange a call back but still no call received


On 17th I spoke to Manish kumar at 9.40 am he assured he will call back by 12 pm but no call back received.
When I received a call to confirm address person told me he received the request today on 17th means after all the followups and frustration we pushed tata to do their work

17th we received a card at 3 pm with promise of activation by 6 pm but again great docomo till now 10.30 pm card is not active

Thanks for forwarding this to TaTa docommo. After 14 hours they called me asking to reconnect and asked me to visit nearest shop. which I declined as this was not what they promised. Later they tried to solve the issue but still there was no promise card will be activated.(it was that we will do this and see) I was confused to see they do not even know which plan I chose. Again the thing continued to select the plan.
It was surprising to see prepaid plans were also offered.

At last I have asked to cancel the services and kept the call in frustration.

I have tried all that I could and now I give up. I even tried threatening for compensation but still there is nothing. May times I have asked for the higher authorities contact number but I was not given contacts other than services. Yesterday night I even asked in frustration which center I need to visit to meet highest authority people. That too details were not provided. it means you buy the services and keep your mouth shut and only deal with ground level staff ?

This is to much. Can nothing be done with such services Where you push provider for 10 to 12 days to get your work done through shouting and anger and also pay money for it ??????

Examples of pushing -

1. No calls came - so we need to call them everyday and every time there is long queue for toll free.
pay from your pocket to talk to them shout on them and still every time provide the details. Not one day but continuous 10 days
postpone your work call in between work and be behind them.
2. When they told card will be activated in 2 hours I scheduled my meetings and card was never activated. next promise was by 10.30 pm sure which also did not happen. Morning i was asked to visit the center. I blood pressure went high and I shouted on them after that things moved but still there was no promise of solving the problem
3. Sending mail did not work as there is autoreply and there is no followup from company side.

I am fade up with your services. There is no guarantee of your services and need the justice
After I am pushed out of limit. Suddenly I am getting calls which is to much. There is no coordination between your teams. After such a pathetic response and cancelling the services still you harass me by calling and asking check for the card and network.
This is toooo much.

What resolutions. This is going on from 15 days now. I have cancelled the connection and I want justice for my frustration.

You can do anything harass people and then say we understand!!! Is this the way you treat your customers ?
I am getting calls today also for activation of services and is your
card working no ([protected]) for the old request. (I have received
2 calls till now). After complaint to your presidential desk on many calls they promised on phone I will get calls only from one person.
I am still receiving these calls daily. Sometimes 3 to 4. There is something fundamentally wrong with you.

I have cancelled the card and the matter is with you
still after such a mess I am getting harassed by some call center daily
?????
