Tata Indicom — Outstanding bill - legal notice | |||
I had received a tata-photon+ device and connection in my name from my ex-employer when I joined that organization. While leaving the organization It was my obligation to return the device to the organization, so I called Tata-photon+ customer care and the customer care representative assured me that the connection will be disconnected. After that I submitted the Tata-Photon+ device to my ex-employer and I changed my mobile number after that as I moved to a new place. So I didn't receive any SR number. The other thing is that, I had taken the connection on Advanced Rental Plan for 6 months with a credit limit of 800. I had paid the bill on the month of march '13 so the period that it covers should be from march '13 to August '13 and I returned the device in the month of May 2013. The connection was not disconnected and they sent me a physical bill to my office address on the month of September. Ideally as I didn't pay the bill by the due date which was "20th Sept" in my case, the connection should have been blocked which happens usually. Now, the bill which I supposedly received at my last office address, should have contained an Advanced rental for the duration of sept-13 to Feb-13, during which the connection should be remained blocked. I have written to them and talked to the concerned person about the issue and explaining them the same matter but my words have fallen on deaf ears. Now they have sent me a legal notice to appear at a conciliation camp in Delhi. This has been very harassing situation for me. Need a solution for this.
